I had to share this comedy bit. This was sent to me several times from many different people so I knew it had to be good. I didn’t think it would be quite this good.
Ice Cube aka O’shea Jackson has been in show business for a long time from the rap game to acting/directing. From Cube’s early days with the relatively unknown group C.I.A. Then finally his break came when he joined the “gangsta rap” pioneers NWA. In 1989 his star meteoric rise in his solo rap career showed us that his star could indeed shine even brighter. In 1992 he was given the part of “Doughboy” in his first starring role in the hard hitting hood portrayal of the John Singleton written and directed “Boyz in the Hood.” It’s said that upon the wrapping of “Boyz in the Hood” director John Singleton encouraged Jackson to try his hand at writing by telling him “If you can write a song, you can write a movie.” Hence, the “Friday” series was born.
Since then Cube has worn even more hats which he always seems to accomplish quite well.
Conan O’brien was a bit of a surprise to me. Call me uninformed but I never knew he was this good . He plays the role of “straight man” to perfection. I guess if I’d have done a little bit of research I wouldn’t have been that surprised. His resume, while not extensive has serious “street cred” ie “Saturday Night Live,” “The Simpsons,” “The Tonight Show,” et cetera. Check out some of his other guests on his Youtube channel or catch him TBS at 11:00PM
This bit is an instant classic.
Check it out and leave me a comment to let me know what you think.
